Non-asbestos fibre Jointing replaced the old asbestos jointing's for health and safety reasons and has developed over the years, offering a fantastic range of materials for a huge variety of applications.

Grade's available:

Commercial Grade Non Asbestos (KG- E)

Kent Gaskets Grade KG - E is a general purpose commercial Non asbestos. Mostly recommended for industrial water supply and sewage in parameters shown below. The sheet is manufactured in hot alandering vulcanization process in accordance to high quality ISO 9001 standard procedures.

Non Asbestos BS7531 Grade Y (KG- Y)

Kent Gaskets Grade KG - Y has specially selected constituents and structure to ensure high tightness of a joint and resistance to a whole range of media, including steam, water, fuels, oils, solutions of salt as well as weak solutions of acids and bases. Thanks to application of a special composition of fibres and fillers, gaskets made of this material are very good in whole applications.

Non Asbestos BS7531 Grade X (KG- X)

Kent Gaskets Grade KG - X is a premium grade of Non Asbestos sheet material based on aramid and inorganic fibres with a high quality nitrile binding system & has specially selected constituents and structure to ensure high tightness of a joint and resistance to a whole range of media, including steam, water, fuels, oils, solutions of salt as well as weak solutions of acids and bases. Thanks to application of a unique composition of fibres and fillers, gaskets made of this material feature higher resistance to operation in steam.

As well as generic grades, we can offer all major manufacturers branded Jointing i.e Klinger, Novus Sealing, Flexitallic, Garlock etc.

Material can be sold in sheets for your own conversion, or we can cut the gaskets to your dimensions, drawings or samples.
